Dennington Dental has provided personal care in cosmetic and family dentistry to local members of the Napa Valley community for the past 35 years. Dr. Boyd Dennington and his staff pride themselves in providing individualized care with a personal approach that puts the patient’s comfort first. We treat every patient as a family member, and we are conservative in our approach to dental treatment plans. Our mission is to provide an office that is professional, warm, friendly and inviting with positive energy.
With a combined 35 years of service, our front office staff is a testament to the loyalty of our staff and help bring great personality of our business. Each of our friendly four dental hygienists will happily answer any of your dental questions and make sure every patient is comfortable and properly attended to throughout their dental treatment.

We suggest visiting the dentist every six months to benefit the most from our general dentistry. Regular dental visits allow us to diagnose any negative conditions early for quick and effective treatment.
MEET DR. DENNINGTON
About Boyd Dennington, D.D.S.
Many of you may be well acquainted with me from my Yountville practice location, you may be getting to know me in the new Napa location, and some of you may not have even met me yet. If you fall into the latter group, I look forward to meeting you soon. You can read a little bit about me and my dental practice below.
I am proud to have provided dental care in the Napa Valley from my office in Yountville for over ten years, and in a practice that had been in operation for over forty! In 2021 I made the move to the city of Napa in search of a larger office space and I couldn’t be more pleased with the new location. I have the most amazing team surrounding me from the front office to the back. We’re proud to offer the latest in dental technology, to provide the best treatment modalities, and to do so in the most comfortable way possible. Our office also coordinates treatment, when necessary, with our local network of specialists to provide the best care for our patients.
My main focus is to listen to my patients to best identify their concerns and goals. This allows me to diagnose dental needs and then align those as best as possible with treatment options that meet the desires of the patient. When this approach is implemented with a baseline of kindness, compassion, and empathy, the result is a lasting relationship and excellent oral health. And those are the types of relationships I seek, because I consider my staff and my patients as extensions of my family. We’re all in this together, so let’s make the most of it.
On a personal note, I am from Dallas, Texas originally but I was raised in the desert of Phoenix, Arizona. Both of my parents were in healthcare, so I decided to study microbiology at The University of Arizona in Tucson with the hopes of entering into dental school thereafter. I was fortunate to not only have received a wonderful education in Tucson, but it was also there that I met the love of my life, Monica. She traveled with me to Houston, Texas where I attended The University of Texas Dental Branch and she continued her education, earning a Masters in Education at The University of Houston. Monica was born and raised in the Napa Valley and with her family still residing here, we decided to settle in and start our family in the valley. Monica teaches history at her alma mater, Saint Helena High. Our lives and schedules are always full as we balance our work, our two young sons, and one fluffy dog. We are both thrilled to be a part of this wonderful community and to raise our family here.
